Alya:

Crono Trigger: A cave woman from 65 billion b.c. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Leader of a tribe who leaves to help Crono's party out.

Valley of the Horses: Set during the dawning of Mankind, Alya is the last survivor of a clan of people who were destroyed. Becomes integrated into another clan and and leads them as their only hope of survival ( as far as I can tell )

I think I see some insipration here.
