I can't decide what rocks more..."Otherworld" from FFX or "One-Winged Angel" from FFVII.
Although I occasionally wonder if "JENOVA" should also be an option...hmmm...

My favorite is definetley One-Winged Angel...that theme is sooo original and awesome...that..I JUST CANT GET OVER IT!!! excpeacially the orchestrated version...its amazing!!
Dir En Grey.....yes?
Boss Battle II from Chrono Trigger. But if I had to pick from the list, then it'd be One Winged Angel. Otherworld feels too out of place.
I'd have to say Gilgamesh's boss theme (FF5), then FF6's normal boss theme, then Dancing mad.
Thanks to Sagensyg for the sig!
Extreme > OWA > Countless boss themes > Otherworld. I didn't really like Otherworld that much...
After seeing the "Dear Friends" symphony last night, I am making up my mind once and for all: it is "One-Winged Angel," it will always be "One-Winged Angel," and never let me speak of any other contenders lest I be smote for blasphemy.
'Cause...wow.![]()

"One Winged Angel" is awesome. The orchestrated version that saw (same show that Queen Anthai is talking about) was truly magnificent.
However, I think I like the last boss song (Zeromous) from FFIV just as much. It perfectly conveys the "the fate of the world is riding on this battle" feel.
The Boss Theme from FF3.
Honorable mention to the battle with Vanessa/Night Queen in Shadow Hearts Covenant.
One-winged angel.
Like everyone else who attended the Dear Friends concert, I know that One Winged Angel is a boss theme that will never be matched.
I like kujas theme (FF9)
Don't be afraid of shadows, it only means there is light shining somewhere behind...
FFVIII has the best boss theme. There's so much going on. I love it.
