Oh wow, you guys need to listen to more songs. I used to love One Winged Angel prior to having every FF sountrack ever. It is a great song, and revolutionary for its time. But now, the song really doesent interest me a great deal. Being a fan of the "doujin" genre (japanese fan bands that play game music, usually metal style, think Black Mages), there are alot of songs that I find to be excellent when redone. For example, Dark Messenger is a great song (not nearly the best), but ViViX's version is way better. Real guitars There are so many great arranges of songs like Dancing Mad as well. And why such a strong opinion about Otherworld? Still More Fighting from FFVII is a much better rock theme than Otherworld! My favorite boss battle theme has got to be Battle With the Four Fiends from FFIV. It's got alot of rockin, and it's fun to play on guitar. Also Final Battle from FFIX is a great song too. It has this creepy techno vibe I like alot.
