One Winged Angel was a good song, but it get more credit than it deserves (a disease that everything on FF7 suffers of, in my opinion), especially with the whole ripped off lyrics (They were ripped off from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, so in case you didn't know.. well, you do now!!1).
I actually preffer the normal boss battle theme in FF7 over OWA.

hmmm... well personally my faveorite boss theme ever is the 1st boss theme from PN03.

Agreed, though out of OWA or Otherworld, OWA takes it. Otherworld works during the final boss fight in FFX, but it's not a very good song on it's own.

It's not because everyone else likes it, it's because the whole choral and orchestral arrangement has such an awesome presence. (I'm talking about the reunion orchestral version of course. The version in the actual game sucks badly)

why are people limiting themselves to ff only boss themes?
Personally, I think one wing angel is a respectable piece in terms of coposition, but It pales in comparison to dancing mad, which is roughly four pieces that segue into one another. And the final portion, with the church bells chiming and the mournful music as Kefka descends in his full god like glory, I still get chills viewing that scene and the black mages remix does it alot of justice, even though truth be told I still prefer the original. As a part time musician I care little for the actual sound quality, and more for the actual composition, and Dancing Mad is likely uematsu's best.
So, no one here is going to mention ‘Final Battle’ from FFIX? That owns all of the aforementioned boss themes, with the possible exception of The Dark Messanger.
*sigh* more people need to play FFIX, obviously.
