Did anyone ever hear about Galway no Sora?

As far as I know it's based on the Melodies of Life (Final Fantasy IX).

Its lyrics are listed on a website, but I'd never heard of it before, and it intrigued me...

Is it real or fake?

It's just an Emiko Shiratori song that was put on the Melodies of Life single. It has nothing to do with Final Fantasy other than that.
