FF VII PC (minor spoilers)

I finished the game not too long ago (took me 2 months and 1 month spent on Sephiroth ) and I thought it was good but not great. Now I heard the music on the PSX version was much better than the PC version which had crappy MIDI music. Also the game crashed quite a lot of times, especially at the mini games, so that also ruined it a little for me. The whole game I was paranopid of the game crashing and returning to windows so I had to finish a boss again while I couldn't save. Also at the end of Disc 1 when Aeris dies and the game asks for disc 2, the game crashed twice before I could go on. So I had to defeat Jenova 3 times and saw the cutscene 3 times aswell which also takes away part of the fun. Anyone else here who played the PC version (and the PSX version) and had these problems?

the only problem I have with the PC version, is that now my computer is so fast, that the mini-games go at hyperspeed, like the motorcycle at the beginning, but that's it...
