I'm playing DoS finally, and i'm starting to get annoyed. My shield level is 16, and the bar is filling a little, I thought the max level of weapons/shields was 16... could someone clarify the actualy max level please!!

Well that's been the general consensus about the original, but who knows, they could have changed it for the remake. See if you can find out.
well apparently I filled the bar at level 16, or damn close to it, and did not level up my shield, so you can fill the bar, but it won't go any higher...

Lv. 16.9999... you get the point. magic does the same thing.
Calling it "level 16.999999999" might kinda confuse people. The spell/weapon isn't any better at 16.9999999999 than it is at 16.0. That's just the spell/weapon's experience level, which obviously got maxed out.
