help!!!! i want to learn how to draw anime!

from what i've seen there's many ways to try it out~ one way is to use a certain artist's art pieces as reference and just try to draw the same one~ after you've more or less gotten the techinique, you can switch to others and eventually find your own style~ i know a number of ppl who do that~ just picking it up from scratch, in my opinion, is alot harder than learning an artist's style first~

It's not that hard, first try copying (copying, not tracing) pictures that you like. Once you get the hang of it, try you're own origional work. The biggest thing is just to practice, no matter how badly you suck, you must practice

How technical do you want to be? Remember to line up the eyes and study facial proportions. Symmetry is the key and also: a good drawing looks good in the mirror.

The rest is practice. YEARS of practice.
