there are 2 R7 laws in the game... Law Cards and NoClr Magic...Law cards prevents you from suing law cards (obviously) and NoClr Magic means you have to use Red, White, Black or Blue magic...

yay
You are correct. NoClr Magic is an R7 law. I hadn't bothered to check it (I did the last time I played the mission, which was before I read your post [though not before you posted it, so you still get the joy of correcting me ]) because it only shows up with the Law Cards law. Still, I apologize for my mistake.

NoClr Magic is actually a bit misleading, I think. If "NoClr Magic" is outlawed, then you shouldn't be able to use Time Magic and similar skills, which are magic, but not color magic, but you should still be able to use abilities like Battle Tech and Chivalry, since they aren't NoClr Magic, shouldn't you? Still, in that mission (the Mage Tourney mission, with the reward of the Sapere Aude or a powerup to it if you already have it) you are not allowed to use anything except Red, Blue, Black, and White Magic. Although there are ways around even sneaky laws like this... Doublecast is a Red Magic A-Ability, but it lets you cast Summon and Elemental magic twice, but since it's Red Magic, you won't get called on it! (Of course, this means that Doublecast is useless if Color Magic is outlawed, but still...)
