You know how in the beginning you have to get numbers scattered around besaid to get into that cave right? Well there is a ruin across the second one ( on the path after the save sphere place) and it has a blue circle. What's it for?

That blue circle is from FFX - where it contained one of the Al-Bhed messages to help you find the passwords. I don't think it does anything in FFX-2.
