Need help *Major Spoilers*

[Buster Sword Strike]

At the part When (SPOILER)lucca's mom is stuck in the machine and you need to enter the password(L1,O,R1,O). I have tried this pass a lot of times(around 20) but it will not work. I go straight into the room and then head to the sparkle. I press L1,O,R1,O but it doesn't work. So i try again but no avail. If you now what I'm doing wrong please help.

EDIT: I had no trouble with XABY(Triangle,O,X,Square)
