    Default Set as desktop

Okay as a joke, a fairly 'innappropriate' picture was right clicked and set as desktop onto my friends computer. I've taken it off the desktop fine, but I can't actually seem to find the file to delete it. It's in the background menu, but I can't do anything but select it.

    Thanks

I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.

Windows uses .bmp files in C:\Windows (or wherever your Windows folder is), and from your My Pictures folder inside My Documents to make that list, so try looking in those two places to find that picture, and delete to remove it from the menu

    C:\Documents and Settings\*your user name*\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft

It caches some desktop images there too

Selecting another bmp as a backround should replace it in the list, I think.

That only works if the current background is not stored in one of the previously mentioned locations. Otherwise, if they are in those locations, they'll stay in the list since that's where Windows builds that list from.
