I just started FF8, but FF10's Omega was easier than those Egyptian Pillar things in Omega Dungeon.

Ruby and Emerald where easy they were pushovers to inexperienced players all you need is the right materia equipped and your done.

Omega (FF8), Ruby, and Emerald all require preparation to overcome, and not much more. You have to be prepared in different ways for Omega and FF7's Weapons, and it's not easy to determine which Weapon is most difficult. It definitely takes more preparation to beat Ruby and Emerald, so by that line of thought, I suppose they're more difficult.

I found Ozma from FF9 to be a more challenging fight then any Weapon, though.

*shrugs* I haven't gotten the initiative to fight emerald in ff7 (or all the stuff in preparation either) and I'm tired of waiting for ultima to finish his stupid flying, and obviously I haven't tried ruby either.

Omega Weapon a la ff8 was rather difficult, I mean, it wasn't difficult because I only ever did it once with holy wars +invincible moon to see what the proof of omega was like. Ultima weapon was incrediably easy though. I had to keep refighting him because I kept forgetting to draw eden. at level 100 even.

The first time I played ffx omega and ultima weapons were like 'omgomgomg ;_;;;;;;;;;' and I was like '@.x YOU LIE' when my friend said he thought they were just another fiend.

But in my second game I found out just how right he was.

It's sad how easy they are in x-2 though:/

Cuz 10 was first first FF besides some very limited ff7, where i was somewhat introduced to weapons, and i to counsel my friend because of his hate towards ruby, I thought Omega weapon was gunna be incredibly tough, i buffed up everyone to near 99999 everytime, but little did i know he doest even have that much hp... so i overkilled. him with tidus first round.....

Omega Weapon from FF8 was the hardest for me. Hes pretty easy if you use holy wars but without.....sheesh thats all i can say. Hes extremely hard. Next up would be the Emerald Weapon. followed by Ruby. The weapons from X were too easy.....but i guess they had to be since there is no save points near them.

This may be a bit off topic, but did the giant of bab-il from FFIV resemble a weapon to anyone else? If so, I would go with that, because going inside that POS involved a lot of fighting some reletively tough normal dudes plus a few bosses.

I dissagree. And wimpy Omega actually IS easier than Ultima when fought at level 100.

He means that Omega in FF8 was the hardest and the the Weapons in FFX are easy and looks like crap. I agree with his comment about the FFX Weapons but I dissagree about Omega in FF8. And yes... Omega from FF8 is the "strongest" when it comes to HP and powerfull attacks... however... that doesn't make him harder than some of the other Weapons... and Ultima Weapon actually have higher "stats" (str, mag, spr etc) at level 100... except HP, ofcourse.

Well... Shinryuu is absolutely not a Weapon... but I'm not sure about Omega. Sure... in FFV his name is just "Omega" and not "Omega Weapon" but I still think they are meant to be the same... in that case I would agree that Omega from FFV is the hardest... by far. But if not... well... then either Ruby or Emerald I guess... or maybe Ultima Weapon from FF8...

No, he isn't. And right now I almost think it's easier for me to beat him without hero or holy wars... since those items just annoys me and makes me lose my focus.
Just do it like this:
1) Level5 Death= 100Death on statsdef= you survive.
2) Meteor= Make sure you heal your characters hp after this attack. Everyone should have 9999 HP.
3) Megidoflame= Everyone survives with 1 HP left. After this attack... either heal or use the Defend command with your characters.
4) Gravia= If all your characters defended and only have 1 HP, then they won't take any dammage at all. Even if Omega will use his normal attack... your defending characters won't take any dammage.
5) Terrabreak= Defending characters will take 0 dammage from every hit. Pice of cake.
6) Now you just need to heal a bit. If your characters still only have 1 HP... use a megaelexir or something. Omega will use the magic "Ultima" which shouldn't cause too much trouble.
7) Light Pillar= Just revive the killed character with "Full Life"
8) Repeat. I just described how to survive... but all you need to do is use aura and trow in a few limmitbreaks every once and then. That's up to you.
I have personaly defeated Omega Weapon from FF8 blindfolded... and also by using Squall only + no Lionheart or hero-items... AND I have also defeated Omega without any stats effecting junctioning... only commands like "Item", "Defend" and "GF" etc. Now... I think that's reason enough for me to not call him hard.

I also say Omega from FFVIII is the hardest. I guess he's easy with Ultima's strategy, but for all the others I've never needed to come up with a strategy. That makes him the hardest.

That's right:

1) Make sure you know where you placed the different commands.
2) Make sure you really remember them.
3) Turn on the sound at pretty high volume. (the sound effects tells whitch attacks that are used)
4) Start the battle, pause as soon as the battle screen appears, cover your eyes with something so that you can see absolutely nothing, pick up the controller, un-pause the game and start the battle.

I've defeated Ultimecia this way as well.
