Shiva - it might just be all in the codec Which ones do you use?

I use DivX right now, but I'm looking for an alternative. It's hard to find a good program that will work on a Mac, and Quicktime sucks. A friend recently pointed me in the direction of Handbrake, a free converter that will compress DVD to MPEG-4. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm crossing my fingers. Anyone heard of it?

Could you people, who have good AMVs link them to this forum?
I have problems downloading them from animemusicvideos.org site. It seems that it´s no longer free to do that in that site.
I would like to see more of ff videos. They are great!

As far as I know, AMV.org is still free - but there is a wait period of a certain # of weeks (2 I think?) when you join before you're allowed to download vids - a wait which you can get rid of if you donate to the site. If that's not it, I think a lot of people have had trouble downloading there ever since the server changed.

Yeah, I ment that donation thing. I have been a member several weeks but I still can´t download anything. It keeps asking donation.
Is it going to continue that way or am I allowed to download in some point if I don´t do anything?
