They have some pretty creative minds to come up with some of these names that are banned on customized jerseys.

LET THE HAMMER FALL
The most hilarious was "Athletes Foot"
I don't understand why that's banned.
Man, what if some kid with the last name of Athletes Foot wants his own jersey and can't have one? How horrible.
i always thought that was an x-files character.....DEEP THROAT
how naive i am

420? SPIT? TANG? That's pretty lame.
Half the people in my college were named Tang. Good thing LA doesn't have a football team.

I'm guessing they come up with this list based on actual requests they've received. They probably have a team of people who review each custom order and screen out the bad ones to add to the banned list.
Then why wasn't Footlocker or Finish Line banned? If they do that, they might as well ban Tylenol, Kraft, iPod, Evanescence...etc.Originally Posted by eestlinc

The funny thing is that you could replace anything prefixed with 'ass' with the prefix 'arse'. Arse on its own is banned, but the scope for combinations is extensive.
I'd like to meet the guy whose job it was to compile that list.
