I needed a Yahoo! name that wasn't like... Amanda2001! or something lame. This is the first thing I came up with.

My real name is Bob which is a palindrome. What really ticks me off is when people whose names aren't palindromes use "palindrome" as their handle. THAT IS MY NAME #!&^ IT! GIVE IT BACK TO ME! SHE DOESN'T LOVE YOU!

In metropolitin St. John's Newfoundland(where I live). People would label someone who don't drink or smoke, by calling them "staight edge". When someone admits to being "straight edge" they put X's at the end of their names. I'm a "straight edge" so I used X's

I just thought of using a FF character name. At first it was going to be "Ashe" (I believe she is from ff4? well, one of the one's before 5) witch was my username for another site. I prefer "Faris" alot more

Well, I was born in June, and the birthstone for that month is the pearl. The lucky flower is the rose. I combined the two to get my screename. ^^

A random thought that stuck. I like it for its ambiguity. Credit goes to my best friend who co-discovered it. The number is left over from an old AIM name.

Kind of a funny coincidence. the strawberryman part just is based off of a business I know of named The Strawberry Man. Why? Because just last year at the winnepeg folk fest, Which is probably the best time that I have every summer, (mostly for the food

) there was a concert with several bands playing. (or parts of them.)
Right in the middle of a performance, some guy starts handing out strawberries on stage. A quote from one of the performers-

I was thinking of a username for Starcraft more original than The_Eldar (a reference to the Eldar in Warhammer 40,000 which I still say were ripped off of to make the Protoss, who I was using at that time). I went over ideas in my mind and I remembered the element of Void from Miyamoto Musashi's Book of the Five Rings which I had learned of through the Legend of the Five Rings card game. I thought that Void was pretty cool, and the rest of the name just kinda jumped out of my mind and onto the screen. It's been my username ever since, although most people tend to call me BtV, Void, or Behold.
