Some of these are very close and a few are even ties that I handicapped who I thought was more likely to win.

I hope posting that doesn't result in a flood of BAotW party member votes. Actually, that would be good since only 39 people have voted so far. Since over 130 candidates participated in one way or another, I'd like to think we can get at least 100 votes.

I've linked to this thread in #eoff's topic so not only the #eoff party members but all the people in other parties that join in there should see the link every time they log in.

It's nice to see #eoff party is doing well, though. I wasn't getting my hopes too high this year but I'll do whatever I can to help the elections get more activity from members who don't usually get involved in forum affairs (and hopefully get more forum members in chat, too).

Actually, that's the main reason I made it the #eoff party. I could have left it at The Newbie Party like last year but this year I wanted to actually get an instant impact going on. I've had positive results already - more forum posters in #eoff and more #eoffers posting in the forums, including a very, very, very rare occurance of Snizz posting more than once in a thread, let alone posting at all. I'm happy with the results.

Of course, I'd also love to get more votes, but if there's one thing Award Guy has taught me, it's that you don't do yourself any favours by constantly bugging people for votes when they don't want to, so I'm not gonna bother bugging anyone to vote at all.

I seriously do try whatever I can to get more people into #eoff, though. I miss having the room active 24/7 - activity has increased since December, when I started my latest #eoff campaign (which began with the ChatStats linked in the navbar in the forums).

I think votes depend on the size of the party the person who voted is from. Let's take.... BAoTW and Elitist Party, considering there's only about 5 legit members in the Elitist Party, their votes are worth more than the votes from BAoTW members, or #eoff, or Ace... And nonaffiliated members' votes are probably worth more than any of the parties' votes.
