Oh wow, I'm going to make up a crazy theory then:
I think that parties' members that vote for their own parties' votes are worth 1, whereas from outside their party they are worth 2 or 3. That made no sense, so let me explain:
Let's suppose in General Chat:
- Both me (1) and I dunno....eest (2)....vote Spritz. This gives a total of 1 + 2 = 3.
- Both Proto (1) and crashlotsofnumbers (1) vote Proto. This gives a total of 1 + 1 = 2.

eest's vote is worth more as he is not a member of the BAoTW Party.

No, not really. I might choose to vote for YOU, for example, instead of the FFVII forum BAoTW candidate. I don't know how I am going to vote yet, or who I will bribe in order to win. (Besides, you missed off the Anti-EoFF Party from your "minor party" list thing )

Also, there are plenty of people who don't have parties.
