Dating Sims (18+?)
What are your thoughts on Dating Sims?
I think it is interesting hearing opinions on something like this that is sort of controversial in some parts of the world, and moderately popular in others.
And on another note, how do you see them in comparison to flat out pornography?
Is it okay to discuss this? I hope it is because I am very interested in what you all have to say.
I guess I think of them the same way I think of those body-size pillows.
Most dating sims I've played aren't "adult" in nature. *shrug*
I think they're fun, as far as game-play goes. And I guess they could serve to give porn-hounds some practical dating skills.
They provide us with a healthy dose of much-needed adult entertainment.

I've played one and it wasn't too bad. It's much eisier to give some woman perfume and have them make kissy faces at you rather than having to do the whole sincere care thing

The Sims can be a dating sim you know? Some of them have pornography in it but i dont think thats the point. I feel its just good adult entertainment. Its definitely not aimed at a younger genre. So its just a type of game out there...i dont see whats the big deal about that...kinda like how theres violence in video games :x
Porno or not its fun to try out and shows people what its like well really you create the people to date and make tem choose eachother unlike reality but its still good

dating sims are unrealistic, meant for those who want to play a quick game then jiz, that's it. the girls in the games are always easy, they're never wanting a long term relationship before she lets you in, its purely meant for a quick kick and that's it.
Being wise comes in two parts: 1) having a lot to say and 2) not saying it.

Its hard to actually simulate a REAL person. I am sure even the best AI in the world will not be able to simulate a real person for a dating sim ever.
I played one and it was the most boring thing on the face of the planet.

I've been looking into those dating sim games. Somewhat boring. I looked at a few hentai ones, still boring.
