Just click on the user CP link at the top left of your screen, you can change the avatar options and everything else there.

ok click on user cp then a bar will come up bye the side just click "edit avatar" and chose out of the avatars
...erm now pming click on someones name and it will come up with a list of options chose send private message to whoever and you write a message then if you want them to see that they have it strait away after you click send it will ask if you want to give a read request>
