How to get No Encounters...
In my first playthrough of this game I was able to get the Peaceful Shield around Mount Gagazet on my way to fight Seymour...I've NO idea how, I'm almost positive it was dropped by a monster on the mountain, also another peaceful item was dropped, I've the save file but that doesnt help remind me WHERE I got it, now I can't. Anyone any ideas?
I got one from a Ghost in the cavern of the stolen fayth, if it makes you happy.

i didnt get one for ages but then i got 2x peaceful bracers form creatures at the training area.
One strange thing I noticed with No Encounters was even though it can only be placed on Armour, I got one which was on a weapon.

Nah, it was a sword for Tidus called Lionhart, I think. The strange thing is, it only had No Encounters on it, and Lionhart weapons have Double Overdrive.

I have 2 NE armour 1 for wakka [off seson] and for kimarhi peaceful armlet Wakkas had stoneward or proof with it can't remember. [I have to find out for friend] can it be customized on?

I got all of mine from the Omega Ruins. I got armor for Yuna, Rikku, Wakka, and I am not sure, but I think also Auron.

I didn't get any, stupid game didn't give me any! But i did get half MP for Yuna as a weapon dropped by either tow Gemenies(sp?) or somehting else! It was inside Sin!
There are several monsters that will drop these armors. Georappella or whatever will drop a weapon with No Encounters sometimes. You can also use Purifying Salts which you can bribe out of the Ghost-like creatures or get a whole bunch from the Monster Arena. I think to get them from the Monster Arena, you have to catch one of every monster in the Cavern of Stolen Fayth. However, I am totally unsure of the requirements to obtain the Purifying Salts from the Calm Lands Arena master.

Or you could just fight ghosts randomly until they drop one.
