What do want changed in your government?
Okay ike the name says. BTW try not to say a new leader...I mean something about how it runs
For example: In Canada, I wish we could vote directly for our PM, rather than indirectly, for I believe in choosin gthe person, rather than the party. Also, I think we need more parties, because for the whole history of Canada it was either the Tories, or the Grits in power.
Grits is a food down in the south thats made out of hominy.
WEll one thing i would like to change in the USA gov.Is presidential election time period.I think we should shorten it and then get rid of all these special interest groups.WE give each candidate like 3 months to get there word out that way they don't spend all this money and get all this money from people.OMG I finally got my article!!!!!!!! thank you TSOL
Maybe instead of starting wars and terrorizing other countries with a big mouth and missles we might be able to actually make peace and live what we say..? I really like that someday ._. too bad its just...bleh.
I'd like to see more political parties in America that actually have a chance at being elected and see all the corruption removed from the government.

8. Instead of president, supreme council to decide so that we get a wider range of people voted for... kinda like the supreme court.. but with a bit more work and less power.

Yeah the internet needs to be a bit better its not even that really.IF peopel get broadband and when I say people I mean the cheapasses.Then Broadband actually be more affordable and easy to get.WEll in states were wildlife reigns starts like Wyomi and Oklahoma and all tons of states.They really do tough enviromental laws and the land is nice.Heck Oklahoa in the Wichita Mountains has some of hte last buffalo herds.Which I ended up winning the lotto one day and got to shoot one and eat ^_^ buffalo burgers yummy.Anyway we need more jobs and yes better jobs.Also the USA neeeds to start putting more tax dollars into schools and less into prisons.Instead of doing hte exact opposite.
Also we really need a new flag.

The very fact that a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT based on Christian principles is being pushed means that Christianity has far too much power in the government. The leaders themselves needn't be athiest, but the government should work nonreligiously. There are certain things we can, almost to a man, agree are common sense (no murder, no rape, no theft, etc.), and we should leave it at that. Christian morals, or Jewish morals, Buddhist morals, or any other religious morals that aren't widely accepted as common sense should not constitute a norm.
Yeah but America really isn't the worst.European countries were a lot worst.I mean they had the pope crown there new leader. I think that all changed when Napoleon snatched the crown from the pope as a action to demostrate that he doesn't accept the pope as a political leader.
I'm just saying that isn't our biggest problem we have many other issues. Like when you see a bum that has his or her's
doctorate degree.
I think every political candidate must play russian roulette. Three candidates, one bullet... anyone who is willing to DIE for the position deserves to have it. And that, is one that should apply to all governments.
LB i just hate that extremist attitude...no offense, its that i just dont quite like...just irky to me, just the biggest problem i have with those type of people i experienced. They just cant take any sort of opinion and always put the other person in the guilty spot because they can even if the other person isnt doing anything wrong. (i will stop now before i do something stupid -_-; )
After all, since the Bush No Gay Marriage thing did motivate alot of Christians to vote, i say it is a problem.
If you have a problem with people that watch their money better than you, then please take it up to them. I dont see how getting broadband is a cheapass tatic. Its cheaper in other places yes, but that doesnt mean that whoever gets it here is like...some bastard.
Putting less money on prisons mean they probably need to advocate the death penalty more often since they cannot support them...which i really aint a fan of death =/
Japanese people are just not as accepting of foreigners. Not that all of em are like that but it seems to be the thing they just do. There are signs of "No Foreingers" on public buildings before, and i am certain even though i am asian they wont like me as much as a real japanese person...maybe its just how they were before when they secluded themselves...but if they dont want it better...then up to them :x
Thats a while ago, the constitution thing is NOW. Which is why i think its a more pressing concern than European nations since after all it isnt our nation....as the topic sugguests. srry not to hurt anybody but i think al religions (srry cant find the right word for it) should be banned not to hurt people or something thats just my opinion i think lots of problems would be solved if that would happen

Also I think religion and governments should be mutually exclusive. Also, I think all politcal leaders, when coming into power, should abandon all ties to any companies. If they keep these ties, and a bill comes by that is good for the people, but would damage the company's financial affairs, it is more than likely the politician will try to save the comoany, than the people. I agree with udsuna, politicians should be willing to die for the country.

- Enforcement of immigration laws. Your not legal then you are deported.
- A easily understandable tax code
- Social Security fix
- A health system that isn't horrible(I do like Canada's)
- A government that does not vote strictly on party lines(a long shot for almost any government)
- More crack downs on insider trading
- Better regulation of corporations and their tax filings
- Better regulation of Radio and Television stations so that huge networks like Clear Channel can't basically control everything
- More anti-trust lawsuits. We need more trust busting.

So really it really isn't as bad as you say it is.So what the majority of people int he USA is christain.Heck even a lot of the non christains really were against gay marraige due to the fact that they were homophobs.You'll know if religion plays a big role in the government trust me.Business and religion stays seperate.Politics being business.But lionx your basicly right more work can be done.
