FF1: 10/10 (its the original final fantasy )
FF2: 7/10 (not a very interesting plot...but cool ideas for battle and the whole "key word" system was nice)
    FF3:....never played yet
FF4: 6/10 ( liked the ideas and characters but i HATE the battle system with a firey passion (5 party members? cool! The whole enemys get tons of turns before yours....not so cool...at least they could show the ATB bar...so frusterating)
    FF5: 8/10 (i loved this game...not sure why....could have had a more indepth plot and villan (THOUGH I LOVED X DEATH) )
    FF6:12/10 (wow...need i say anything? :rolleyes2 )
FF7:11/10 (my favorite...it just had that special somthing the other ones didnt...i dont know what...)
FF8: 8/10 (awsome game...havent finished it so ill let you know later if i change my rating)
    FF9: 9/10 (another personal favorite...)
    FF10: 10/10 (they done good)
FF10-2: 8/10 ( Regardless what anyone says...i found this game to be amazing..square didnt intent it do be AWSOME which i think is why pepole expect so much from it...they made it for run..i had a blast palying it)
    FFT: 9/10 (diffrent....but nice)
FFTA: 7/10 (fun aswell, like 10-2 not meant to be extrodinary)

    FFXIV Character

    Best => Worst
FFXI => 10/10 Though frustrating at times, it's really quite wonderful.
FFT => 10/10 Ivalice is my favorite Final Fantasy world, even more than Vana'diel, Just a nearly flawless gaming experience.
FFVI => 10/10 My first Final Fantasy, and thus nostalgia plays a large role in making FFVI my favorite RPG of all time.
FFIX => 9.5/10 Astoundingly beautiful game. This is what i was hoping for in FFVII, and FFVIII, which neither delivered.
FFI => 9/10 Sometimes simplicity is incredibly gratifying.
FFII => 8/10 I think that I'm the only person in the world who loves FFII's experience system
FFV => 7.5/10 Storyline's a bit borish, but the Job system is lovely.
FFX => 7.5/10 Would be 9/10 if not for Yuna and Tidus' laughing scene, and The Ending, which sucked.
FFIV => 7/10 Kinda like FFI
    FFCC => 6/10 A nice diversion.
FFIII => 5/10 I've only played a horribly glitchy/mistranslated ROM version, so maybe I shouldn't even comment. I think if I could play a well-translated version it'd be a 7-7.5 b/c I really like the game, for the same reasons as FFIV and FFI.
FFMQ => 5/10 I think I'll be crucified for rating this over FFVII, but such is my opinion. It's a short, easy, fun game; screw the dissenters.
FFVII => 4.9/10 I was disappointed by this game. I love it, but it just wasn't Final Fantasy to me, or rather it wasn't what i was expecting, which left a bitter aftertaste.
FFX-2 => 4.5/10 Such a ridiculously pretentious game should not have been as fun as it was.
FFVIII => 4/10 It's not a bad game, at all. It just doesn't hold my interest like the others, and its memories do not leak into my reveries like the others do. I do love the music and the card game. Has some of my favorite music to play on piano.

I'll only rate the ones I own and played.
    Out of five stars scale:

    # Final Fantasy I - 3.0
The very first Final Fantasy game.
Great and very original design, far ahead of its time.

    # Final Fantasy II - 3.5
A slight improvement over the first game.
Great story and very lovable characters; a classic.

    # Final Fantasy IV - 3.0
    Great story, heartbreakingly lovely characters.
A favorite with many FF fans the world around, yet a classic.

    # Final Fantasy V - 4.5
Introduced the Job system which is so popular these days.
Absolutely one of my favorite Final Fantasy games today.

    # Final Fantasy VI - 4.0
In my humble opinion I really think that this game is heavily
overrated, not that great in my opinion.

    # Final Fantasy VII - 5.0
Legendary: what more can I say?

    # Final Fantasy VIII - 4.5
Another one of my favorites, heartbreaking story, love, love and
love is in the air. Truly terrific.

    # Final Fantasy IX - 4.5
Old school rocks; Final Fantasy IX is yet an example of Square's
greatness. A favorite among many FF fans.

    # Final Fantasy Tactics - 4.0
Slighty different: yes, great nontheless. MANY hold this as one of the
greatest games ever made... personnally I can't see why.

    # Final Fantasy Tactics Advanche - 3.0
I like it, nothing fancy though. Great music though.

Rankings (with emphasis on the top 5)

    1. Final Fantasy VII (100.0) In my mind, the best, most compelling characters; the best, most powerful story; incredible music; lots of subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) humor; entertaining minigames; and fun gameplay. Oh, and to the FFVII-bashers out there, I suggest you at least do a little research. Find out what Kaballah is before you dismiss the game, since it adds yet another dimension to the thematic structure.

    2. Final Fantasy VI (96.0) Great story, memorable characters, amazing music, good humor, good gameplay. This game was also able to quietly address certain issues, like suicide and teenage pregnancy, which was bold to say the least. My second favorite FF, though I prefered FFVII in almost every way.

    3. Final Fantasy IX (92.0) Excellent (and underrated) story, creative characters, good music, successfully recalled much of the series without diminshing the uniqueness of the game in it's own right. Very fun to play.

    4. Final Fantasy Tactics (91.5) The series' second best story (after VII), excellent characters, interesting tactical gameplay with a good computer A.I., and very fun to play. The music was good, although I feel it's not on the same level as the numerical FF's. Although it doesn't get extra points for it, the retrohistoric nature of the game was interesting.

    5. (tie) Final Fantasy VIII (90.0) and Final Fantasy X (90.0) Both games had excellent stories, although I prefer X's over VIII's. Excellent characterization in each, and both had great music (a slight preference for VIII). While I ignore graphics in assigning scores, it's worth noting that both absolutely amazing graphics at the time of release.

    and the rest....

Final Fantasy V (85.0) Much better story than given credit for. Loved the job system.

Final Fantasy IV (77.0) Decent story and characters, although much overrated. Excellent music. Revolutionary in many ways.

Final Fantasy X-2 (76.0) The story was actually fairly good. Extremely fun to play. Unfortunately, certain characters added whole volumes of meaning to the word "annoying."

Final Fantasy III (n/a) Great improvement over the first two installments in terms of story. Job system was a plus. My experience with this game is limited, so I'll avoid giving an official score for now.

Final Fantasy I, II, TA (72.0) At least Garland threatened to knock me down. And Guy/Gus told that guy to shut up. TA had fun missions. Seriously, FF was very innovative for the time, FFII was the first to give the characters (a little) personality, and FFTA got more interesting toward the end.

Final Fantasy XI (n/a) I'm just not comfortable comparing story-based RPG's to an MMORPG. It's good for its genre.
