I always thought of Orlando Bloom as Cloud, Jennifer Garner as Tifa, and ever since i played KH i've thought Mandy Moore would be great as Aeris. and its gotta be Bruce Willis as Cid.

Some friends and myself have discussed this topic numerous times. Here's what I've got:

1) Cloud - Matt Damon, but I'm not as sure about this one as I used to be. I like the idea of Orlando Bloom a bit though
2)Aeris - Heather Graham, but that Alexis chick *really* looked the part.
3)Tifa - Sarah Michelle Gellar. She already has martial arts training, to boot.
4) Barret - Ving Rhames
5) Red XIII (voice) - Sam Neill
6) Cait Sith (voice) - John Leguizamo
7) Cid - George Clooney
8) Yuffie - Lacey Chabert
9) Vincent - Johnny Depp
10) Sephiroth - Ewan McGregor (that was another *really* hard one, and we're still not too sure about that one
11)Pres. Shinra - Gene Hackman
12) Rufus - Ethan Hawke
13) Hojo - Geoffrey Rush
