Whatever happened to FFR?

I resigned as Administrator, and it all went downhill from there.
Seriously though, Eric, the owner of the site, decided to sell up and move on to other projects. I offered to purchase FFR, but was beaten out by some other goons who proceeded to take the place and run it into the ground.
And that, as they say, is that.

Yes yes I know all that. I'm talking about recently. That stuff happened a long time ago.
That stuff was recent. Once the site was bought out, it all went downhill from there. Why? The owners couldn't be bothered with it, and it was passed on from person to person until it finally died.
It died a horrible, slow, agonizing death.

In short, it went to hell. Just post here instead.
I heard it was taken away by a horde of green crows. Make of that what you will.

And uh, no, Nick wasn't the last owner.
He sold it to some weird annoying guy that no one could stand named Mazen (screen name of ZranX). He took the site down to remodel and never put it back up. That was the last I ever heard of it.
