New Sonic Adventure game

Well, actually the title is tentative. It center's mostly around Shadow. Here's some screenshots







Many questions arise. Like, Why is Shadow using a gun? Is he the only playable character.

(SPOILER)Is this one of the Shadow clones that made it's apperance in Sonic Heroes? Or is this the real Shadow that was thought to be dead in Sonic Adventure 2

anyway segas must really be making some huge changes from the original series, im not really sure what to think about this yet

I watched the trailer, and thought it looked really, really stupid...they need some way to capture the original feeling of the 2D sonic games. Giving Shadow a gun? Meh.

I'm looking forward to it. Guns don't bother me, and I'm a huge Shadow fan to start with. Trailer could've been better, but I'll still gladly pick up the finished product.

It looks pretty good but it could be really bad like Sonic Adventure 2 and Heroes with the horrid camera angles and all that (no offense meant ot 3D Sonic fans). The gun seems pretty cool.

It looks terrible. Guns have no place in a Sonic game. And I'm sick of Shadow taking the spotlight off of Sonic and Tails. He's not that great.

EDIT: OK, re-reading the first post, this game might not actually be a part of the Sonic Adventures series and is probably just a spin-off game. In which case, I guess it's OK, but I'd still rather see a new game focused on Sonic and not Shadow.

Well, that sucks. I liked the levels in SA2 that you play as Sonic and Shadow. If they are similiar to that in the new game, then I guess the game will be tolerable. However, from the looks of it, especially with that gun, I doubt it will be similiar at all.

I'm not surprised it's centered around Shadow with the video game industry going through its "badass" phase right now.
