But our taste preferences are largely determined by what we eat as children. So the choices aren't ours so much as it is our parent's.
The fact that this guy is relating his study to the Rorschach test (which is a fundamentally flawed way of measuring personality) and that this study was commissioned by the Snack Food Association and the National Potato Promotion Board leads me to believe that it's all bunk.
I'm not saying that the food we eat doesn't have some sort of bearing on our personality, but the idea that people who eat Tortilla chips are perfectionists seems idiotic to me.
