We also have many different accents, which confuse a lot of people. If you travel for one hour west from my home town, everyone speaks "Skallie". If you travel South-West for two hours, everyone speaks "Welsh", which is even worse. And, if you travel North-East for about three hours, everyone speaks "Geordie", which is almost impossible to understand (for me, anyway).
