Yup, the game was re-released for the PlayStation a couple of years ago.
The game itself is the same, but there are some FMVs and other bonuses at the start and the end.
NO!!! DO NOT GET THE PS VERSON!!! Load times are bad! It takes about 4-6 seconds just for a random battle to load! THATS WORSE THEN THE OLD SNES VERSON! And the FMV suck. And it only includes like a library of all monster when ya defeat and the stats of em. Nothin fancy. ROM verson better and u can fast forward and stuff.....download the emulator ZNES it pwnz.
not really you get the bestiary and other stuff to you just gotta beat the game
