My girlfriend and best friend think me insane FOR voting for bush.. considering i'm a communist.. but what commie would vote for kerry when he owns smurfing Heinz coporation?!?! Besides, he was a coward. Afraid of what "people might think" and didn't honor his own values, Bush atleast had self-esteem, something a leader HAS to have..

Besides those obvious reasons I believe bush will make the world come to the end the way I want it too. Either way the world as we know it (Meaning the fall of America.) is going to end, but there are many ways of which that end could come. And good ol' Dubyha is going to insure the U.S's destruction in a way I know I won't die in vain.

Ofcourse Bush may be half of the reason the world's going to end in the first place but that's tottaly besides the point..

I didn't vote for Bush because a vote for Bush is a vote for Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld and other people who I have little to no respect for. Rove I respect as a strategist, but I don't see how any of these folks really have America's, the World's or frankly anyone outside of their group's best interests at heart.

Even if Kerry was just another politician, I'd trade that for what we do have now.

Still, for me it's now 'Barack Obama 2008 Or Bust' hopefully, though it's far more likely 2012.

Well, my whole take is that if you really hate Bush a lot, then hate HIM. I don't see why everyone feels the need to get in other peoples faces about any political things. I get along with several people at my college who I know voted for Bush. If everyone had the same exact opinion, this world would be incredibly dull.

This is rediculous, but I agree with most of y'all that there are extremists on both sides. I would say that there are more left-wing nuts than right-wing nuts, but that's just me, and I'm on the right so I see more on the left than most people.

One thing I don't understand...why do people mention "religious fanatics" on the right, but not on the left?

DocFrance, I just got back from a year plus in Iraq with the Army, and I can't remember how many times I've been called things like "baby killer". It's so damn stupid, I can't help but laugh sometimes. Most of the things liberals talk bad about soldiers/conservatives/Christians about, they got no clue what they're talking about, so it's easy to make them look stupid(er).

In some cases, yes. Not nearly the same ratio though. In all honesty, most I've heard from liberals concerning conservatives includes information that has either been taken out of context, manipulated, or fabricated entirely.

I agree with Winkler's viewpoints on Bush...but obviously he went way too far with his antics. The only type of people who might possibly deserve this kind of treatment are KKK members.

Really though, I've seen plenty of Bush/Cheney stickers and I never really cared for them.

But I have noticed that Republicans tend to be the worst drivers.
