    Default _vti_cnf?

Why does my web page have one of these in every directory? Its getting on my nerves and I don't know what its for other than taking up more space.

I've noticed that Frontpage keeps that to remind itself how to configure your files how it wants. If you aren't using Frontpage, then I really don't know.

Most webservers with frontpage extensions automatically create those directories. I fully agree, they are as annoying as anything.

Feel free to delete anything starting with _vti, but be warned that if you are using frontpage it might affect how frontpage operates. (it shouldn't affect your site, unless you use any of the canned frontpage webbots...or whatever they're called)
