Hey hey! I just noticed this is a double "present" for newbies so not only they'll see themselves as an admin or staff, but they'll also see themselves with a custom rank!![]()
I don't know, I think it was a pretty cool idea.

I've used stripslashes() in the past, but I just couldn't remember the function name (and I haven't talked to the server admin in a while). When I go through and revise it, I'll remember that. It's been a while since I wrote any PHP code, and thanks for the heads up.Originally Posted by Samuraid
That, and it can also help members decide on potential new icons and usernames (as well as new signatures, when I add that in).Originally Posted by Proto
Things to add/change:
Add a "BoB" option (Senior Site Staff + Administrator)
Add a "banned" option
Get rid of the slashes
Add a signature display option
Up the maximum character limits for custom title
Write in the option to display for the OLD style.
Other random suggestions.
'Tis too late tonight, though.
That was fun - great script, Sepho.![]()
The BoB option is a cheat and uses HTML and a line break in the custom rank![]()
alas, 'tis mere illusion
Not bad, but it needs the old school forum look to it.

I went through and made all of the following changes:
- Used the stripslashes() function in many places to get rid of the slashes.
- Added the BoB option
- Added the Banned option
- Added a Signature option
- Upped the character limits to 75 for the custom title and location fields
- Wrote in the EoFF Classic template.
