First of all, you used to do the exact same thing. I think it's very rude of you to complain about something that you used to do all the time!

The problem is that the chat applet isn't perfect, so it's really not their fault. A lot of people don't understand IRC and never will, and would rather have a chatroom on AIM, a chatroom on Livejournal, or whatever. What do you want to do, anyway? If you had all the powers in the world, what would you do to correct this? They're not coming back because they probably closed the applet, so why would you want to ban them?
Please think about your feedback in the future so that other matters more deserving of attention can be addressed more quickly.
