EoFF Screen Name Tournament Spring Fever - FINAL ON NOW - edczxcvbnm vs. Del Murder
Hello everyone! This is Proto hosting another edition of the Screen Name Tournaments. Last year, we only had two Tournaments, and the winners were o_O over Spuuky and Mo-Nercy (with the ³) over the host, Agent Proto. Well, that brings the total winning screen names of past tournaments to eleven. However, voting in this tournament will start on Monday. Each round will last about two days, because we seriously don't need 100+ votes for this, because this is fast paced and quite unpredictible. Anything can happen in the EoFF Screen Name Tournaments, as was seen last year when my screen name (Agent Proto) got into the finals, and there was probably much riot because of that. If you want your favorite screen name to win, you have to vote. If you don't vote, we may get the same results as last time. But that's that.
Anyway, there will be 128 screen names in this tournament, and that means there'll be a few extra rounds to go through. We will be getting straight into the brackets. To make things easier on eyes, I have created eight tourney brackets with sixteen screen names each. You may want to play with them and predict what may happen in the tournament. Anyway, I have used the results from the last tournament to help me rank the screen names, and as you can see, the runner-up to the finals will be ranked number 1.
Some tidbits about the Screen Name Tournament that may interest you.
• The Model Citizen was the first organizer of the original EoFF Screen Name World Cup, which had 32 screen names and formatted it in the styel of the World Cup. The winner would be Big Ogre Umaro.
• Big Ogre Umaro and Rydia of Mist are the only two Final Fantasy related screen names to win.
• Big Ogre Umaro and ShlupQuack are the only two screen names to be in the Finals twice. BOU won once and eventually losing his second bid before the rule to retire winning screen names took place.
• ShlupQuack was in the Final Four the most with a total of four times.
• Crunchy Beverage is the only banned member and second account to win.
• There are four screen names that start with the letter "M" in the UnOfficial Screen Name Hall of Fame: Melted Snowman, Mikztsu, Mo-Nercy³, and mystic ice cube.
• eestlinc is rumoured to take over as host and organizer of the Screen Name Tournament in the future, but who knows for sure.
