An RPG isn't an RPG if the enemies are on even footing. The enemy always has legions of (high incompetent) soldiers, while you only have a ragtag group of heroes that appear to be able to withstand attacks that would kill everyone else in the world outright unless you're in an FMV scene at which point you're just screwed
