Don't attack Rinoa, sounds really obvious but avoid all attacking GF, Squall's limit break (since Fated Circle and Blasting Zone do damage to the entire enemy party). Cast Aura and use the "safe" limit breaks like Irvine's Shot (which has a selectable target) and Zell's Duel (which also has a selectable target and also is the best limit break in the game when you use Armageddon Fist*) Draw -> Cast Regen from Rinoa and cast it on her.

Most people tend to tank up their Squall, so for this battle only, donate Squall's Str junction to Zell and let Squall do healing or whatever, if you really need it. With Irvine helping, you can dispose of Adel really easily.

*: Armageddon Fist: Means getting Zell to perform Booya and Punch Rush over and over again. Since these two attacks are really easily inputed, it's quite simple to do 4-8 attacks per second. With a good strengthed Zell, it's a limit more devastating than Lion Heart.
