Really, you cant trust anyone anymore. I mean, we have to... the people who drive our busses, who cook our food... our doctors, our dentists... we trust them all very intimately, to do their jobs well and keep us safe. A lot do, but some don't, and unfortunatly it's something we have to live with unless there's some way to monitor them.
I just try not to think about it, really.
It's generally easy to tell whether someone is trustworthy or not. And it's not as if we're suffering some kind of horde of rampaging sex-dentists, so it'd be stupid to live in fear of this kind of thing.
