Xenogears or FFVII's versions of Earth (though in XG's case I guess it'd be more Earth 2). Still have the luxeries of technology, but the world abroad would be a lot more fascinating... Though I can't really give Squeenix credit for XG. So I'll have to say FF7. Though 6 is very tempting... Terra needs my love >_>;

Well, it boils down to one of three choices for me:
•Ivalance - Final Fantasy Tactics. It's a scenic, nice and calming place that has an abundance of jobs and people. The only problem would be finding somebody that's actually trustworthy. Hmm . . .
• Post Kefka/Restored World of Balance - FF VI. Well, I'm not an adventurer and the restored WoB is a safe haven from danger as far as I can tell. Cowerdly reason, yes but which would you prefer? A sleepover with a creepy monster like WrexSoul or your complete and total safety?
• The Mushroom Kingdom - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars version - If it counts that is. I'd live there because I'm a fan of Mario and almost all things Mario related. Bonus points because there's solid proof of the exsistance of video games there. Also, wishes that actually come true just because you wish them sound like great fun.
Well there you have it. Those are the places I'd most enjoy live in the Squnixverse. There are others that I could consider but as of the moment, those seem like my best bets. The Chrono Trigger universe doesn't seem so bad at the moment though.
Look, I'm a strange person. When I was younger, nothing used to make me laugh any harder then when somebody made fun of me. Unfortunatly for me, my mockers looked at me strangely and stopped when I did this. Go figure.

The World of FF8 was pretty cool with all the futuristic stuff. I'd like to live in Esthar.
I liked Xenogears world, Lahan village was so peaceful.

It's a pleasant medium sized city with all the amenities. It reminds me of small towns in Europe.
