okay very very frusturated...honestly my characters leveled up 10 levels cuz i cant reach the area (Black Mage Village? disc 2 b4 u meet Eiko for the first time)...the guide tells me go the way of "no owls" tried it, nuthin happens...im soo annoyed of fighting the same creature! its ridiculous I cant reach it...and I know what im doing lol? any suggestions...thanks -JOSH C

When you follow the "no owls" sign, you will end up in the same area again. You have to keep following the "no owls" sign multiple times until finally a black mage will appear and Zidane will follow him.

You just have to go: Right, Left, Right, Left; until you see a Black Mage come out and open the gate.

i think that there shuold be an owl everytime you enter the new screen......i just went to opposite way it flew......i got there eventually!

There is a sign in the middle of the forest, it tells you in which direction to go, don't mind the real owls.

im really sorry 2 sound annoying but this is just not workin @ all for me...the sign u guys are talking about is right in the middle...so how is this supposed 2 help me out? no walkthroughs help me out...ugh this is the easiest game but directionwise its the hardest for me

DONT look at the owls. Look at the signs.

You enter the forest.

You look at the sign.

You find out which way "has no owls".

You go where it tells you to go.

You read the sign again.

repeat.

You have to read the sign, it will give you a message somewhat like this:

-> Where there are owls
<- Where there are no owls

there is NO sign that says anything about owls! the only sign that there is, saying "THIS ROAD LEADS TO A DEAD END!" nothing to do with owls what-so-ever.

no problem...but u dont know how frusturated I was...im like this was so simple last time and Im having so much problem...im already w/ Eiko already! lol this was so hilarious...I was like should I go to this place(conde petite...a while ago) WOW!
