Warcraft 3 isn't that great imo. However, I really do love Warcraft 2, and it's expansion. Now those were great games.

But when it comes to making and customizing own maps, WC3 is unbeatable.

And I love the story in the campain in WC3 more than in the earlier ones, not to mention that undead is my fav race.

However... as far as normal gameplay goes, I have to agree that WC2 was a little better.

wc3 IS a great game ... just not one im particularly fond of. It's not a real strategy game ... its more based on twitch reflexes and fast micro-management ... I prefer games with macro managmenet and real strategical depth like starcraft ..

I play WC3 from time to time. Frozen Throne expansion is really neat. A few of my friends play World of Warcraft, but one MMORPG is enough for me.
