I think it disappeared last time the forums were down a few months back. I don't remember seeing it since then, anyway.

Also, if you want to see where people are browsing if you click the "Currently Active Users" link at the upper-left corner of the index page you can see what each person is doing that's logged in.
I think it disappeared in an upgrade or something, cause tGA lost it too.
Renable it then. It causes an extra query to the database, though.

I noticed that being gone a very long time ago and I vaguely remember something about having either Who's Online or the names at the bottom of the forums. It was to be one or the other, but not both.
