It's a show that's still airing on Japanese broadcasting right now, so far it is up to episode 23 and still going incredibly strong. At it's most basic level it's about a Japanese rock group starting up and including a couple of Jr. High guys. It's incredibly well done and has tons of interesting sideplots. It also has a really good take on keeping to school and life responsibility while being in a band, misunderstandings, and just about everything else. The show progresses at a very believable rate as far as them putting out songs and playing shows, getting recognized, etc. It features some of the best and most well developed characters I've seen in a show, (anime or not) in a good while, and it's just one of the most satisfying shows on television in my opinion. I suggest it to everyone, except those who think anime is hand crafted by Lucifer himself (You'd be surprised).
