Favorite Gamecube RPG?

Gamecube is not a system known for its RPGs. However, it has a pretty good consistency with the RPGs it DOES get, and indeed some of them have been among the best this generation. What's your favorite of these, or pick the other option if you're goin for a lesser known one (or multiconsole game like LOTR: TTA or MMX: CM).

I would have to say Skies of Arcadia Legends, narrowly beating out Paper Mario. I've only played both of these once, but Skies was a much longer quest with much more enjoyable travel/exploration, and I have more insentive to replay that before PM: TTYD.

What would you say?

I would have to say Tales of Symphonia. The battle sytem completly pulled me in, making almost every battle fun and almost never tedious. It's also a fairly long game and kept me interested. The second would have to be the same as yours, Paper Mario. that game made me laugh so much. Plus, using the audience as part of your battle technique was a good idea.

SKies of arcadia annoys me to the high heavens the battles are so slow, the ship battles are even slower and i can't stand the cliche hero.

I voted Baten Kaitos, because I knew nobody else would. But I also dearly enjoy Paper Mario.

I say Tales of Symphoina though the Mario was great, Kaitos was okay and I never played the others. The characters, gameplay, sound, and graphics make it my favorite of the bunch.

I picked Skies of Arcadia, it's the only one i've played. And that was on the Dreamcast.

Skies of Arcadia was overall cliche, but then, Tales of Symphonia tended in that direction. However, overall Tales of Symphonia was a lot funner.
