Just in passing, it's been said that to live life is to offend and be offended because when we offend someone else or our offended ourselves, we our pushed out of our own comfort zone, and often must confront something that we've tried to avoid seeing or never noticed before. In a way, it's important to be offended in some cases because it makes us think or see something from a new perspective. If we worry too much about offending other people with our own thoughts, we are self-censoring, which in my opinion does much more harm than good.

I don't get how everyone is so reluctant to say something is funny. That SO should get more credit than it's getting right now.

I thought it was mildly amusing. But why should it matter if other people do or don't find it funny? As long as you laughed isn't that all that matters?

If people don't find it funny, they don't find it funny, I don't see anything wrong with that.

I'm not reluctant to say it was funny. I just didn't find it funny. At all. I thought it was pretty stupid to tell you the truth.
