Okay, this might be a bit of a stretch in logic... but child care is like retail in the sense that customers come to you, and not vice versa. You, for example, let's say you order a pizza for delivery once every two months. A two-dollar tip, even for a college student like yourself, won't put a dent in your wallet. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't affect anyone at all except us.

And I'm sure there are countless more people like yourself, that don't order pizza all that often. I don't ask for anything more than a buck, maybe two if you feel generous, on a $15 order, about a 6% tip. All things considered -- gasoline (especially nowadays), time, everything else -- that's not much at all.
