ROSE is still my favorite by far!
I've noticed that in ROSE, you can say the f-word as long as you don't put it in caps, or put ING at the end of it. XD
BTW, I know a secret, in ROSE, you can run faster than a cart, by using a little bug... Although, I think it makes you lag a bit when you do it... it looks awesome, and other people freak out. lol
Sit down, click off in the distance where you want to go, and just before your character fully stands up, push TAB 2 times fast!
lol, its even faster if you have speed run casted on your character. lol
I'm lvl 42 in ROSE, and its getting a bit hard to lvl up. But still fun, as long as I keep exploring... and with 7 different planets to explore (eventually) I wont get tired anytime soon.
Only problem with ROSE, is like RO before it, it will become P2P, probably in a year... give or take...
Hey, if I finally get another job by then, and the game improves a little more, I'll pay for it. (would like to see private servers someday xD)

Actually, if you want to create your own, there's a program called "Playerworlds" (www.playerworlds.com)(the website goes off and on). It's for creating 3/4ths view action-type mmorpgs. I like it.

Yeah, PW is free. I think you can sell the clients once your done, but i'm not sure. You can make different graphics. They start you out with mostly FFVI graphics and tiles, but you can change it around. The only bad thing is that all of the images the game draws from are BMP, but I found that if your users can afford a little converting, then you can set them as PNGs. You can also script it with the included editor. One of the newer things are npc chatting, which can be done by entering in the game and typing /npcchat while under at least the Developer title.Player Worlds looks interesting

You can add and change tiles, graphics, items, etc. As you want. Each one is 32x32, and I mean everything. Tiles, sprites, spell gfx, items, etc. I hope that helps.
LOL, its a good game, really good, lots of skills, items, and monsters, ect... and game play is great...
But normally, free its not... unless you know where to look. lol

Well The Fourth Coming is good, and at least overs free time on many servers. on some it is free all week and pay on the weekend, and on a select few it is free all the time.
It is a fun game, and cheap when and if you want to pay for it. 50$ a year on most, and many servers will over special deals, such as two for the price of one , etc... most of those happen around christmas and I believe the start of summer.
STILL Updating the anime list. . . I didn't think I was that much of an anime freak! I don't even want to consider updating the manga list!
