hmmm what are the graphics in that one like?... the website is extreamly simple... and there arn't any screenshots ^_^;
It's very basic, but entertaining. It has a playing system similar to FFI, and job classes from FFV. and once you master those classes you can have the abilities from one of them in your next class (also like FFV).
Oh, and Daggers64, could you PM me a link that Ragnarok free stuff site? I've been told it was great but it's expensive and I'm broke. Thanks. ^_^
There's a free online RPG no one has mentioned and I'm really surprised. I was addicted to this game for literally 6 months. Its called Tibia. Its highly popular, and its really fun to play.
Basics: After downloading the program and creating a character on the tibia website (www.tibia.com) you start of as a level 1 generic person on an island called Rookgaard. here you learn the basics of the game and get taught how to talk with the NPCs as well as other people actually playing the game. when you reach Level 8 (it took me like a day, and getting 8 levels in one day is crazy fast) you can get teleported to the mainland as wel as choose your permanant vocation. You can be a Knight (High physical attack poor magic, high carrying capacity also), Paladin (High physical ranged attack, some magic, medium carry capacity) Druid and Sorceror (Druids are more heal based magic and Sorcs are more attack magic based. both physically weak and low carry capacity)
When you kill an enemy exp is automatically given to you and then you check the dead enemy for gold and other loot. Some of tibias servers allow PvP, some do not. there are a few where PvP has absoluetly no consequence as well. Those are fun but hard to get high leveled characters there.
If you are interested in getting started in the land of Tibia, I'll be more than happy to help you out. Just make sure your character is in the World of Pacera (its the server, each server has its own world, no crossing between)
The graphics arent spectacular, but they are good enough, the game is great fun, and this game is proof that graphics aren't better than gameplay.
My character there is called Shining Bleu, hes a level 37 Knight, it could be higher, i just like to socialize a lot.

Chef, it doesn't have The Fourth Coming there(at least not that I saw.. and I did search) and I know it is a free MMORPG.. or at least Semi-Free(most servers arn't free, but I know at least one is).

Hey! Hunted to Extinction is pretty fun. Are they adding new stuff all the time. When I first joined, I battled someone, but the only selectable BG was black, but now they added four natural ones. That's awesome. Anyway, I'm Xalioniaf on there. I'm at Lv. 10, all of my guys are at the 3rd job level. If you're starting out, I'll lose once for you to build yourself up some.
I messed around with planeshift about a year ago... and it lagged out my bad computer... promising? Yes. Resource extensive? yes. Do I have those resources? No

about that planeshift game, how's the game play... and is it free?
Planeshift is free and they want to keep it as that.
Basicaly you create a character ,and then you go fighting monsters or do some quests. You can also do things like dig for resources or duel other players. Its quite some time since I last checked it, so they might have added more stuff to it.
