I voted Rydia out of habit.
I really don't know the answer. I just know that when I say Rydia, everybody will back me up.
I'm beginning to find this kind of topic mind bogglingly ridiculous. I already knew that it was unimportant. But now I'm wondering if it's ethically proper.
I dropped lulu when I saw a dark flan her elemental magic is stupid when its not super effetive and she's low on magic just magic def. Yuna passed her already pretty much lapped her Yuna you and your aeons could beat sin so easy.

Whats so great about rydia?
Well, I like the fact that she's a Black Mage and a Summoner. The only combination like that in the whole series, I think. To me, it makes her more worthwhile for use in the game.Originally Posted by Destai
And when you compare Rydia to Rosa, the other female in the game, she comes across as much stronger. No offense to Rosa, but lot of people really aren't too fond of her, so when looking at Rydia, the other female in the game, Rydia comes across as much more likeable and useful. (Note: While Rosa will never be one of my personal favorite FF Heroines, I don't dislike her at all.)
I also think Rydia has a lot of strength in her own right, too. What with her past. She can also hold her own outside of battle with the others, which adds to her appeal even moreso for me.

WHAT!?! Wakka didn't deserve a woman at all, much less LULU! Sorry, but Lulu is in my opinion one of the best FF female of all time, while Wakka is somewhere around the worst FF male.

Lenna (Reina) and Yuffie. I almost voted for Relm too, but for some reason I didn't. Of course my favorite is Princess Sara from ff3, but she's not really a heroine or anything.
