In a nutshell:
Korn bring out ST (Korn). It rules, no questions asked
Korn bring out Life is Peachy (or "the funny one" as I like to call it). It's formulaic, but still good
Korn bring out Follow the Leader (or "the bling-bling one"). It's very poppy, loses touch with roots, the "korn kidz" kick up a right fuss.
Korn bring out Issues (or "the wierd one"). Bit better, but everyone's sorta indifferent.
Korn bring out Untouchables (or "the s4!7 one"). Nobody likes except people who aren't fans of korn. Figure THAT one out!
Korn bring out Take a Look In the Mirror (or "sounds kinda like all the others, but it's probably the second best next to ST" one). By this time a lot of people don't notice.
Brian Welch finds Jesus
James Scaffer finds Buddha
David finds Allah
Fieldy finds an MTV series involving one of the following : Pimping someone's ride/surprising celebrities/lifestyles of the rich and famous
JD go off and does more random vampire movies and stuff with Clive Barker
The world carries on until the Sun explodes after depleting it's hydrogen supply and expanding to a Red Giant.
That's pretty much all you need to know (anything after Brian Welch is a prediction on my part). Basically Korn were significant when they first came out, but now they're just "another nu-metal band". I wouldn't be at much of a loss if they split, they've done what they needed to do.
