I didn't grow up watching Sesame Street, I grew up watching Rupert.
Anyways, I think it gives off the message to little kids that it's good to watch and sing along with people who are taking a shower.
Ehm, it's just a kids television show. I doubt the kids would really notice.
It teaches that voyeurism is actually a good thing. And that by announcing your presence by singing, the person you're watching doesn't mind.
